Good bye 2007

Well here I sit all alone on New Year's Eve!!! This year kind of flew by.. nothing to exciting happened. In someways that is good.. but in others so sad..

Here is hoping that next year I am not sitting alone..

Its a family thing

Lets see how has my last week paned out...

Jen brought mom up on that Friday before Christmas. Mandy came that evening. Mom, Mandy & I went to dinner and did some shopping. We got home and we had a quick visit from Ruth & her friend Chris. Everyone stayed in my tiny little house. Mandy was up bright & early to go to work. Ruth & Chris left around 9 to beat the weather. (can I just say I am sick of winter & snow & ice) Sunday was pretty nice so Mom and I did some more shopping. Monday came & I took Mom to work with me she got to meet everyone. Got to leave at noon and Judy & Mandy was at the house. They took the boys out shopping to get me a Christmas present.. I got busy cooking. I had the Strausbaugh family Christmas get together that evening. I left the girls to eat the turkey I baked... Had a great time at the party.. but a funny thing happened ... as I was leaving I started to feel sick ( see a family trend going.. see all posts from everyone..hehe) Got home did Christmas presents with Mandy LOVE the throw she made... it is so warm.. Went to bed got up made some cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Still feeling kind of icky.. but I have a big day in front of me pushing through!!! Kids woke up Mandy left we opened all the gifts.. The boys were super excited with their presents.. I got them a Nintendo DS can I just say I am now hooked also.. I WANT ONE!!! hehe.. They got me a new comforter thanks Mandy for your help in that decision.. anyway started cooking dinner.. still feeling crappie so I took some meds.. helped a bit.. Get a text from Christy she is on her way.. not even 5 min later I get a call from Gloria.. Christy in a accident .. SO glad she is ok.. Jan & Jaser came over.. we ate did some more presents .. they left.. by this time i am achy feeling like crap.. Judy takes mom home with her.. I go to bed.. get up to go to work I have to get better to die this is how bad I am feeling.. I have to go to work since there is only 3 in our office and Josh has the day off.. I go in Lu looks at me and says as soon as she gets done with her dad for me to go home.. I leave at 12:20 I get home go to bed.. achy snotting all over.. cant breath.. head hurts.. coughing.. Thank goodness I am on vacation oh and what fun it is.. HA!!! I crawled out of bed on Friday and took the boys to a movie.. came home and went to bed again!! Saturday I decided I am not going to let this be a bad vacation so we went to the Mall.. Today I think I will stay in bed most of the day.. my head feels like it will blow off.. I have tomorrow & Tuesday off.. sure hope I feel good by Wednesday .. have to go back to work then... Well hope everyone who hasn't gotten this crud don't.. Talk to you when I can breath again

Christmas Time Is Here

Happiness & Cheer!!! (love that Christmas song!!!)

So sad no honey baked ham this year.. oh well turkey it is.. I will have to have a ham also (just not the best ham in town). McKinley told me mom this is messed up!!! we have ham for Thanksgiving and Turkey for Christmas.. messing with his little world.. hehe

Going to be very busy till the end of the year. Tonight I have to get the presents for my bosses.. (we are having our holiday luncheon tomorrow. on top of shopping i have to make ornaments for the office guys to put in their stockings. Tomorrow night will be spent cleaning a bit since I will be getting mom for Christmas.. Saturday night i have a surprise party to go to for an old friend of Bill's (haven't seen them in 6 years will be fun) Sunday will be relaxing.. Monday i have to work for a 1/2 day and then that night is the Strausbaugh Christmas eve party.. Then there is Christmas day.. i will be cooking up a storm.. have to work on Wednesday and then off for the rest of the year!!!!! YEA!!!

Not much changed this is how my day is unfolding

got my licence this morning.. (put my goal weight on my licence didn't even lie to the guy told him I wanted to change my weight to my goal weight since I am loosing weight..... he just chuckled at me.. )

Got to work had to park in the crappy part of the garage because now I am late ..

Had a bagel

opened gifts.. from co-workers got a $60 gift certificate to Bath & Body Works (looking forward to those after Christmas sales!!!) Scone mix & some ear rings..

Had a TV Dinner for lunch WOO HOO!! Oh then a tasteless blueberry granola bar

Was going to go to dinner with Paula but she bailed.. guess I will have a peanut butter sandwich now..

Well I am just to exciting......

Hope the weather stays good so Mitzi can come in..

So over all 45 kind if suck like the rest of the days .. haha..

Tonsils, Nose job & a birthday

Well lets see McKinley went to the Doctor on Wednesday for his breathing problems.. They don't want to fix his nose till after he turns 16 because that is about when your face stops growing it is after puberty. So they have decided that his tonsils & adnoids are coming out. he will get that done after school gets out. He wants to have perfect attendance and the Dr. said he has lived this long with it a few more months wont hurt. We were going to do it at spring break but the dr is on spring break with his kids at the same time.

On the birthday.. McKinley turned 11 yesterday.. We had a pretty good evening. Even though it was nasty all day by the time i got home the roads were pretty ok.. so we went to Burger King for dinner and then to see a movie. We saw Mr. Morguriums Wonder Emporium. It was an ok movie.. Saturday he is having 2 friends spend the night.. pray for me.. haha

McKinley has started playing basketball again and they played their first game last Saturday they won in overtime.. it was an exciting game..

As for Quentin ..not much is going on with him right now. Just plugging away he soon will be a teenager.. think he already has the attitude..

Next weekend Mitzi will be coming in for my birthday. I turn .. .... ..... .... AHHHHHHH 45.... anyway.. it should be fun. Christy & Mandy will be joining us on Saturday for some fun.. anyone else is welcome also..

On the weight loss front I am still stuck at 85 lost.. no changes.. grr I hate being stuck.. I want to loose at least 4 or 5 pounds before Christmas.. but wont beat myself up if it don't happen..

It was great to see everyone this past week. Cant believe we were all able to get together. We must do that again before to many years pass again.

Nothing else is new with me. Just bidding my time till my vacation after Christmas. Oh by the way Christmas is at my place so if anyone wants to come the fun starts at 11 or 12.. Would love to have who ever and everyone there.. just let me know so I can get a turkey big enough to feed my army of family & friends!!

A sad happy birthday!!!

Ok so all this week I have been feeling out of sorts and not sure why.. well as i was running some errands yesterday Quentin says today is Dad's birthday.. he says how old would he be..he would of been 40. So we took a trip to see him. we put some flowers and a angel on grave. So today i am still feeling blue.. I guess i am missing him alot right now..

On a brighter note i am looking forward to seeing everyone in 5 days.. it will be great to see everyone again.

FUN FUN FUN

This was a pretty good weekend. Friday night we went down to LaCygne and it was good to see everyone. Then the next morning we went to the Craft Fair in Mound City. Christy, Ruth & I had a good time. I found some cute ornaments.

Well I am official I have now lost 85 pounds... I am getting so close I am getting excited. I can almost see the end of my tunnel.

Quentin has to wear his cast for 2 more weeks. Wish it would of came off last Friday but oh well.. got to get it healed.

Well another week closer to Christmas AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH so not ready for that day.. at least we have Thanksgiving to get through.

So close

I am so close to my goal now I can almost smell it!! I lost 3.2 pounds last week to make my total 84.8. I am SO EXCITED!!

Broken once again

For those of you that didn't know.. Quentin once again broke his wrist. He had bumped his head on his bunk bed reached his arm up to rub it and smacked his wrist on the bed. So 200 dollars later (a couple of trips to the Dr a couple of braces and some pain meds) he is in a cast. We had to go a couple of times to the Dr before they figured out it was broken. So next Friday I will take him back to see if it healing ok. So more money to the Dr that I don't really have.. I have insurance but my deductible is high.. so that just sucks!! So we are extremely broke!! hope this clears up some issues for anyone out there!!

Drivers Licence Weight

You know there is your real weight and then there is your drivers licence weight... I am almost the weight on my licence.. how cool is that!! Guess when I get my new one in December I will have to set a new goal weight...hahahaha I have now lost 81.6 pounds.. only 52 to go.. wow that is getting so close!!!

Hump Day!!!

Well here it is Wednesday!! Not much going on here...

My fridge is on the fritz here. Called my apartment complex.. and well lets just say March cant get here soon enough!!! Cant wait to move I really hate this place. They wont return a call they take forever to fix anything. Ever since this new company took over it has been a nightmare!!! So as a result of the fridge having issues we are having a ham tonight.. anyone want some ham tonight for dinner...hehe just bring a side dish

Well not much else to report in my exciting life.

Oh one thing you all know i will be 29 (OK cough, cough... 45) this year on my birthday.. so instead of sitting around feeling sorry for myself i am going to pamper myself. the plan is to go to a place called Serenity Day Spa it is a $90 per person package you get 2 30 minuet sessions of either a massage, facial, pedicure, manicure and there are other things.. you get snacks and i think wine. if you are interested let me know my friend Jen Scott is trying to get this together for me.. hope to have all join me to celebrate this depressing day...hehe

At last my I have gotten over my last hump!!! I have now lost 79.8 pounds. I am glad. I was getting very frustrated.

Well really no other news going on. Went and visited mom on Sunday. Good to see her again.

BLAH-BLAH-BLOG!!!

Well school started and the boys are doing pretty good. Work is going good.. Yesterday a woman who works for one of our vender's came in it is her last day on that job. She is changing to a new company who is in need of an Administrative Assistant. They all looked at me and laughed.. and later I asked her how much it paid.. well it is about 4000 more then what I am making.. humm... I love my job but I am thinking about giving her my resume.. It would depend on insurance & vacation if I really give in and go.. oh did i mention that it is here in Lenexa.. so much closer then St Luke's.. Ok my mind is swimming with WHAT SHOULD I DO!!!

Nothing else happening in my life.. it is DULL.. I need some excitement.. I need a date... I need to win the Lottery...hehe

My weight is staying the same again AHHHHHHHh so close to 199 I can smell it... Please let me break my not loosing..

THURSDAY YOUR ONLY A FEW DAYS AWAY!!!

Wow summer is at an end!!! Thursday is the first day of school. We have been trying to get all these school supplies that they schools demand!!! I have been to 3 stores and I still need some junk. Guess we will go tonight and see if we can wrap up this merry-go-round of supply shopping. Last night we had open house at Quentin's middle school. Man is it big.. they said there is like 500 7th graders.. AHHHHHHHH glad I'm not a teacher....

McKinley school will be the same just a diffrent teacher.. Mr. Jahnke (it is prounced like yunkee..) strange name but good teacher. I think he will like him. He will be in the 5th grade. He is all excited I am sure he will do good. His open house isnt for a week or so after school starts.

Last Friday I took the day off and took the boys to Science City at Union Station. We had a blast!!! it is a cool place. We saw their 3D move Dinosaurs Alive it was the best.. I ducked and jumped and had to reach out to see if I could touch them.. I would go to another one there that is for sure...

Not much else to report except that it is HOT!!! but you all already knew that ... well take care and I will see most of you on Saturday...

I AM 75.8!!!

Thats right I hit the 75.8 pound marker today!! It is hard to looking in the mirror and see me looking back. It takes alot to think about!!

Other then that not much else going on getting ready for school. Wednesday I have to enroll Quentin into the 7th grade. School starts on the 16th .. for both boys. McKinley will only have 1/2 days his first 2 days. Quentin will have to go the whole day.

Last weekend we went to the T-bones game with our company. It was fun but hot. Friday we are going to the Royals game.. I really am not a fan of baseball, but free tickets is free fun..

72!!!

That is right I have now lost 72 pounds!! I am SOOOOOOOO excited!! Less then 50 to go!!! I can almost see the light at the end of my tunnel...

This week has been a nice quite week so far. Quentin is spending time with Jenny and McKinley is with Becky.. Quentin is having fun and McKinley started begging to come home on Friday...

I have nothing planned except for Saturday. I am going to a wedding.. my boss Josh is getting married. other then that not a thing just enjoying my quite!!

MoViNg AGAIN!!

Ok for the last 4 weeks I have been stuck at 66 pounds.. Today when I stepped on the scale it was a blessing!! I lost 1.8 pounds I am now at 68.2 pounds lost!!! YEA!!!

Well hope everyone has a fun safe 4th. We are not doing much. We are going to see a movie and will go park in a parking lot and watch some fireworks..

Thursday I am taking Quentin to Jen's and then Friday I am taking McKinley to Becky's. They get a break from each other and i get a break from them. Will be nice for some quiet.. I am looking forward to cleaning my house.. and the quiet .. oh and did i mention the quiet!!!

Well I got to go to Mitzi's It was so nice to get to see her again. I had a rider with me also. Amanda was needing to go to a wedding in New Bloomfield.. so since it is next door to Jeff City she didn't have to go alone.

Friday night we took the kids and went bowling. Ruth, Bob, Amanda, Stacy, Sean, Abby & Nathan joined us. The kids had fun I think the adults did also. Mitzi and I watched.. Saturday Mitzi and I snuck out of the house while the kids were still sleeping and did some garage sales. For lunch we met our friend Amy for lunch at a place called Arris it is a pizza place and VERY good!! We took the kids swimming and they had a blast. Mitzi and I were gearing up for our night out. Ruth & Stacy joined us at El Jimador it was good .. Margaritas & Fajitas.. YUMMY we then went to see a movie.. Knocked Up.. not the best one i have seen .. Sara joined us for that another friend up there..

Sunday I went out to Ruth & Bob's and joined them for lunch for fathers day.. Ruth made the most TASTY steaks ...

The ride home was uneventful.. Amanda did read a book to us on our way up and back think the trip went faster..

Not a whole lot going on here this week.. Going to see Evan Almighty with Christy on Saturday. Then we will hit the pool here at home. I am sure we will do that again on Sunday..

Holding my breath!!

I have a weekend planned to go see Mitzi again... holding my breath that nothing goes wrong and we get to go this time. I am looking forward to getting away and having fun..

Last week was a great week. Got to meet our cousin Rick from Hawaii. What a great guy. We had a good time talking and getting to know each other. I took him around and showed him Kansas City. The boys enjoyed swimming in his pool at the Hotel.

After my week of partying I gained back the .8 I had lost last week. I guess it could of been worse.. plus I had the best time... This week it is back to the grind stone.. I can almost see the light at the end of my tunnel of weight!! I am still hoping by Christmas I am close to my goal. I still cant get use to my new look..

Well time to go to work.. YEA.. hehe I need a vacation.. I am not sure when we will go but it looks like Banson will be our destination once again.. this time to do other things and not Silver Dollar City..I know we will go see the Dixiestampeed.. I have herd that some hate it some love it.. guess I will form my own opinion.

I have a 7th grader

After my whirlwind weekend. I had the 6th grade banquet. I was in charge of the catering. It went well. (after a few issues with Kitty the manager) Anyway the night went well. Food was good the kids had a great time. We got done at 10.. I was pooped!! Oh and one of the kids even told McKinley Dude your mom is HOT tonight.. YEP I STILL GOT IT!!!

66 AND COUNTING!!

I weighed in yesterday and I have now lost 66 pounds!! I was so excited. I wasn't sure how I would fair after the weekend of food and fun.

We went to Omaha last weekend it was great to see everyone. This weekend is the trip to Des Monies to see our Mandy will become Dr. Amanda Camden D.O. Wow a Dr. in the family!!

Tuesday the 29th Quentin will have his 6th grade banquet. Then I will have a 7th grader AHHHH not ready for teenage boy stuff yet!! I still have to go buy me a dress and him a nice pair of pants and shirt. I haven't worn a dress in years.. Not looking forward to doing that, but I want to look good for my boy. I should have pictures next week of the fun..

Alone again!!!

Mitzi wont be able to come in this weekend. She is having issues with her air conditioner. I think I would rather be cool all summer then come to KC for a weekend!!

I have decided to drive up early Saturday morning and come back that afternoon. It will be a LONG day but oh well cant afford a hotel 2 weekends in a row.

Do I stay or do I go???

Not sure what to do next weekend. Do I get a hotel room on Friday night?? Do I get up early and drive to Omaha on Saturday? Hotels cost money the drive will cost money the food will cost money??? Just not sure what to do... What is everyone else doing? I also have this worry the following weekend for our trip to Des Monies!!! Mandy if you know what hotel we are to stay in in Des Monies this info will help. I would like to get a hotel with a pool so the kids will have some fun while we are out and about. This will probably be our big vacations for the summer.

On a brighter note I have now lost 60.4 pounds!!

On the move again

I lost 5 pounds this week to make my total 58.8.

In other news... We didn't get to go to Jeff City this week Mitzi was still sick. Instead I went to some garage sales with Jennifer. We had a great time didn't really find much but still lots of fun. Then the boys called me and there was a bike rodeo going on at the school. They got their bikes tuned up and got a helmet. That was about the extent of our fun this weekend.

Friday they have the school carnival. It should be fun for the kids.

Well we will be staying home this weekend. Mitzi is still sick and now Nicole & Greg have it. Not sure what we will do now. Just stay home and veg!! Next weekend is the Carnival at the school. That will be fun.

I gained 2 pounds this week.. BOO HOO!! This is my first major gain for the last 25 weeks. Guess I was due. I will loose it by next week. I just have to focus and know what my main goal is.

Other then that my week was pretty ho hum!! Not going to go see Mitzi this weekend. We will go next weekend. I am looking forward to that. It will be fun to see Mitzi again.

Well I am creeping to my weight goal. As you see I am now at 56.6 YEA!!

Had a great weekend. The party was a pain to plan but I think it went off great!! Everyone had fun with Mom. It was nice to see all the aunts, uncles & cousins. As well as the sisters nieces & nephews.

Hope everyone had a good Easter. Judy & Mandy came up we had some yummy fondue. It was fun. Mandy had to go home but Judy stayed the night. It was nice to have her here.

This week will be a let down nothing exciting to look forward to for the weekend except relaxing. Next weekend will be fun I am going to go see my BEST friend Mitzi in Jefferson City. We will have our girls night out Ruth & Stacy are going to join us it will be great.

Broke the curse

I finally lost some weight again. I went for almost 3 weeks in a stall. I lost 3.8 pounds. I didn't make my 60 pounds I wanted to but hey 54.8 isn't nothing to sneeze at.

I will live!!

My day started with me waking up around 3:45. I had to pee and couldn't get back to sleep. I am sure it was nerves. Took my shower and waited on Jan. She got here around 6. We left about 15 min later and went to the surgery center (that is just around the corner )I got all checked in. Jan left and went home and got the boys off to school. I went into surgery around 7:30. They gave me the sleepy stuff and it seemed like I closed my eyes and boom I was being told to wake up. I got back home around 10. Jan went and got my pain medicine. I have 2 different ones. One for cramps and one for just pain. The cramps are regular cramps x 10. I am going to stay home tomorrow also since they want me to take it easy for 24 hours after. I pretty much slept most of the day. I am hoping I can sleep the rest of the night. I will take my pain meds and I should be in slumber land around 10.

April 7th has it!!!

The center is booked for the 14th. We will just have to have it the 7th and who can come will be there who cant wont.

We need to pick a time for it to start and give it an end time. Do we want the pot luck please let me know so I can make some phone calls to the Aunts!!

Mom's birthday!! We were going to do it the 7th of April, but I herd that "That's Easter weekend" Ok so does any one have a problem with the 14th of April???? Need to know and fast!! The time span for a birthday party is closing in!! Also do we just want cake or do we want to do a pot luck or what? Please let me know. I am so done party planning it isn't even funny!!

Going Under the Knife!!

Tuesday the 27th I am going to have a DNC and a Endometrial Ablation done. I go in at 6am surgery is at 7 I should be done by 8 or 830. Jan is going to take me and stay with me for a bit. I am sure all will be good!! The doctor said that after this I should either have no periods (YEA) or just a day or 2. That would be great!! I am hoping this stops what is going on. This month I wasn't bleeding so much heavy as it is the never ending period. It has lasted at least 8 days now. I am almost done but there is still a trace. Not sure which is worse!! Oh and the cramps!! GRRR

On a better note. I got my yearly review yesterday and it was good. They said I am doing a good job. That is always good to hear. It also said I am getting good feed back from all the tenants. They like me they really like me!!

Oh and yes Chris I will be there Sunday. Wine and cheese YUMMO!! not sure I should have a glass of wine but I may have a sip!!

I didnt get to weight in this week. Which was probably good since those margariats were just way to good!!

small steps

I weighted in today with dread. After the week I had and the food I have eaten I was worried. Well ... I lost .8 pounds so I am now at 51.8 pounds. I was happy that I didn't gain.

Hey girls looking forward to Saturday. What time are we going to start where are we meeting what all are we doing? Jen what time does the bowling start? Who all will be joining us?

The Results are in!!

Ok I answer my phone at work today and to my surprise it is my Dr. Ok my heart drops to my toes. This must be serious since he is calling me himself and not having the nurse do it. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH What is he going to tell me!!!

He says I have your results and you are no longer in Menopause. (ok how is this possible I thought once you are in it you are there for life!!) I also have cyst and a thickening of my urterin wall . I have to see a GYN to see if they want to do a biopsy or something else. He also mentioned endometritis There was a word before that word just cant remember what he said. By this time my head is swimming so I now have a Dr appointment on the 19th with a GYN to see what they want to do next.

I have now lost 50.8 pounds!! I am so excited. I am hoping I make my 60 pounds lost by the 26th of March. Wish me luck!! If I don't well I will make it in the next session. It starts on the 2nd of April. I am shooting to be at my ultimate goal by the end of this yea.

I got a nice complement today. I ran into a lady that works in my building and she said MAN YOU HAVE LOST A GOB OF WEIGHT!!

SKINNY!! -------FAT!!!

Yesterday I went shopping and I was able to buy a 1X shirt I was SO excited!!

I came home and tried them on. Quentin was in there and says MOM you SO SKINNY in those shirts. (I was in my undies at the time)

He then pops off with but your legs are still FAT!!!

Wow what a fun night!!

Mitzi made it in Friday night in all that nasty that we had. She is very brave!! Friday night we had a glass of wine and played domino's with the boys it was a nice time. Saturday we went shopping at the Great Mall it was a good time. We did a little (lot) of shopping and had some lunch. Saturday evening Christy came up and we headed to Manny's a VERY good Mexican restaurant. We had dinner and some margaritas that were very good. From there we went to the Plaza. We decided to valet park our car because there was no parking. The guy CUTE!! any way on to the fun.. We wanted to go to the VIP room to see the movie but it was all sold out so we decided to just go see the movie. OMG you must go see Music and Lyrics it was a great movie. LOVED IT!! I never really noticed how sexy Hugh Grant is. I want a man like that. After the movie we were going to have some chocolate at the Melting Pot but guess what once again NO PARKING!! so we opted to try somewhere else. We came back to my place and picked up my car so Chris wouldn't have to come all the way back here. We went to the Elephant Bar and had some dessert. Christy picked a Mud Pie I have never seen anything so BIG made from ice cream and very VERY GOOD. Mitzi had the Cheese Cake HUGE piece also and very tasty. I picked a cake with hot fudge and raspberry compote VERY good also. Then we parted ways at 11:30. It was a great time. We should do that again Chris but this time make reservations for the VIP room. Hey when is your spring break at school??

Today we will veg and probably get some lunch before we go see the Pirates of the Jellybeaner. At the Martin City Melodrama. Paula and Matt will be joining us today. I am looking forward to it. It was nice to have some fun this weekend. I really missed seeing Mitzi and we are enjoying each others company.

Mitzi is coming to town tomorrow I am so excited!! We have a fun weekend planned. We are going to go out Saturday night and have some Mexican food then see a movie and do some chocolate at the melting pot. Sunday we are taking the kids to the Martin City Melodrama. Then Monday I have the day off and I will relax and enjoy. Hope everyone else is planning a fun weekend..

My weekend will start off with a party at Christy's friend Megan.. should be interesting!!

I HATE SNOW!!!

Ok why must it snow again. I thought that stupid rat didn't see his shadow!!! I guess Gary Sleestack was right we were going to have several snow events. I am so not looking forward to driving in this crap tomorrow.

On a brighter side I have once again lost some weight. I am now at 46.2 pounds. My goal is to make my total loss at least 60 pounds by the 26th of March. That will be the end of my 12 weeks with this session.

I can feel my hips!!!

I weighted in on Monday afternoon thinking OH MAN I ate my share of that Ooey Gooey Brownie thingey and that don't and some popcorn.. AHHHHHHHHH well I lost 4.2 pounds which brings my total todate as 43.6 pounds. Just think if I hadn't ate all that bad (good tasting chocolate slice of heaven hehehe) stuff how much more would I have lost. You some times you just have to be bad!! Hope everyone has a good week!!

Oh yes the to boney things that are sticking off of me are my hips .. can you beleive it I can feel them and it is good!!!

Basketball, Airport and a Shim

Saturday started like every Saturday has for the last 2 months. The boys basketball games. McKinley's team won. He put the ball up 2 or 3 times but just quite didn't make a basket. Quentin was just to funny ... His team will never pass to him, but he got a rebound and was going to try to make a shot!!! When a member from the other team fouled! So the ref says Blue 3 2 free throw shots!! The color drains out of his face when he realizes this is him and the words of HO MAN!!! Come out of his mouth. He didn't make either basket but he tried very hard. His team lost, not his fault they were beat by several points.

After the games we came home and cleaned house for a bit then we went to the airport to pick up Mandy. McKinley was so excited that her plane was there that he started to run past the guard at the closed in area. The mans says hey there little fella your going to get your self in trouble. So he retreated.. Then I am looking around and Mandy is almost in front of me before I see her. She stops in the the rest room and we are waiting I see this young girl go by with buck teeth and she had a diamond on each tooth NOW WHY WOULD YOU DRAW ATTENTION TO THAT YUCK!!! Anyway we get her bags and head home.

Jenny comes over and Mandy Jen & I go to dinner at American Band Stand. While we are waiting on our food Jen goes OH MY hehehe a SHIM walks by it has a real bad wig, a silver velour skirt black stockings spike heels, a black shell shirt with flecks of gray. I think there was stubble on its face also.. What a way to end the night!!! hehehe The food was good and the dessert was great!! Thanks Mandy I had a great time. It was nice to go out and have some conversation that doesn't contain the word Pokemon, Power Rangers or Yuigo or how ever you spell it.

What a week!!!

Ok I am about to go nuts at work. We are closing one garage and having to move 22 Doctors into another garage that has no room. So we made room... Yes I lost my spot in the garage. I now have to like the common folk and go to the top of the garage.. It isn't all that bad but I have to ride an elevator 2 times a day in freezing cold weather and hope to god that it doesn't break down. How ever I have a direct connect to Karl our man from KONE. I warned him if I ever get stuck he better have either a drink or a valium ready for me when he gets me out of there!!! hehehe.. Any way back to the Doctors that are very whinny. Oh and the office managers who think they are much more important then they are. I drive a Jag cant I have a parking space on an end so I don't get door dinged!! wahhhhhh .. .drive a different car if you don't want a door ding oh and by the way don't go to a store either!!! blah blah blah... Ok so we found the spots in the garage for these Doctors. I had to program 24 garage door openers then make up 20 something names laminate them then tape them to the wall in the freezing cold garage. Ok enough griping!!!

Oh and I have now lost 39.4 pounds YEA!!!

Snap crackle Pop

Ok getting older is for the birds!!! I woke up Monday morning with a horrible pain in my back and front. It went from my shoulder blade to my boob like is someone shot me it was straight through. On top of that I had the period from HELL. I started my mentalpause a few months back so I thought I was through with all of that. I have never had one like I did on this one. Anyway, I was in so much pain by Tuesday that I went to the Dr. I have a muscle spasm. The Dr. Put me on pain pills and some muscle relaxer's and said stay away from stress (yea right has ever met me???) Today I am still in pain and my right had was tingling and kind of numb. I know call the Dr. But I haven't I am going to play the wait game. If it happens again tomorrow I will call him back.

The boys got to go skating tonight with the school ( I sat there in PAIN!!) then we had to go to the store so I could get stuff to make Chili. We have a Chili supper tomorrow night at school. The only busy week I have had in ages and I have to be in SO MUCH PAIN!!

Did I mention that I am hurting...hehehe

On a different note I gained .4 pounds I know that isn't a lot but it made me mad.I am sure it had to do with the period from hell

Ok I am off of here the pain pills are starting to work and I am sleepy

YEA ME!!!

I have not lost 37.6 pounds!!! WOO HOO I have set a new goal for my next 12 weeks of 30 more pounds. I am going to work hard to hit that goal. They opened the fitness center at our Apartment complex this week so we are going to start going there tomorrow when I get home. I am looking forward to that.. Hope it helps

I didn't gain!!

I started back to weight watchers on Monday. I had lost 4.8 pounds over the holidays. Not as good as I would of liked but hey I didn't gain, so I am now at 34.8 for a total.

Last night we celebrated Quentin's birthday at Red Lobster. We did it last night because tonight was going to be a cold soggy one with the possibility of ice. Anyway, we had a good dinner. and our waiter was a bit of eye candy. That didn't hurt hehehe. The waiter bought Quentin a dessert because they no longer give out cake but just ice cream and Q was wanting the cake. Told him that he didn't have to do that but that was very nice of him. Jan went with us said the guy and I was flirting with each other. Hey I still got it!! hehehe

Well have good weekend if you can hope we don't get this crud they are calling for.

Jan. 2007 AHHHHHH

Can you believe that we are starting a new year already. It seems like just yesterday we rang in 2006. New Years was uneventful. Hope everyone had a good one. McKinley and I ran in the New Year with sparkling grape juice in fancy glasses. He thought that was cool. Quentin spent the night at Matt's (Paula's son). I think he had a good time.

Once again I went to the Dr. I have a sinus infection. I think it is getting better now. I don't feel like my head is going to explode.

I start weighing back in at Weight Watchers on Monday. I cant wait to see my progress again. It will be another 12 week session. I'm hoping to loose another 30 pounds. I so want to get my weight off. I would love to see the 100's instead of the 200's. It has been years since that has happened. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

I am hoping fun and exciting things are in store for me this year. I need a change of pace that is on the positive side. It is time to start a new page in my book of life!!
