Tennis anyone!!

I went to the Dr. On Wednesday my elbows have been killing me for about 2 to 3 weeks now. I was afraid it was arthur or something else more serious. I have tennis elbow in both arms. Doc said lay off the tennis!! Darn and I was getting pretty good at it...hehehehe Anyway he told me to use cold packs and rest my arms for 2 weeks then start some exercises on them. This will not be good in the weeks to come at work. I will be making new files and getting ready for 2007. I guess i will have to bribe Josh to help me with the lifting of boxes.

I have been off all week Tuesday I was pretty sick so we didn't do to much. I have bronchitis. They gave me an inhaler and told me to take musinex that stuff works good. Today (Thursday) I took the boys to eat at T-Rex they had fun the food was pretty good. I let them go dig in the sand and McKinley pan handled for some gems & Quentin blasted a brick that had dinosaur bones in it. We also went to see Night at the Museum, very funny movie worth them money for that one. There was not one dull spot in it.

Not sure what we will do tomorrow maybe stay home and relax we shall see.

I have no plans for New Years Eve I guess we will do what we always do. Sit at home and watch Dick Clarks reckon New Year. I am just way to exciting!!

Merry Christmas Baby!!!

Can you believe that Christmas is one week from today. I am no where near ready. I need to do some shopping tomorrow night for my bosses then this weekend I will finish up the boys and everyone else. Mom will be here Wednesday night when I get home. We were going to go shopping but I think we will wait till Friday or Saturday.

Sunday night we are going to the Strausbaugh family Christmas get together. It will be fun with food everywhere. I am going to give myself 2 days off from the diet. I am going to go weigh in on Wednesday night to make sure I am still staying on track.

Looking forward to seeing everyone on Christmas day and will miss the ones we don't. Hope every one has a great Christmas and hope Santa brings you what you want. I want a house but I don't think Santa can fit that in his bag.

Hit my goal

12 Weeks ago I started weight watchers at work it was a 12 week session. i wanted to loose the 30 pounds that i had gained back for the last time i had lost the weight. Well I made it i have now lost 30.2 pounds. I also wanted a date for my birthday i guess 1 out of 2 isn't bad.

Yes that is right tomorrow I will have another one of those dreaded birthdays!! I have nothing planned. It will be like every other Tuesday in my life go to work come home from work take Quentin to basketball practice come home eat watch TV fight with the boys to do their home work then bed. Except for being one year older then i was last Tuesday.

The boys are playing basketball and loving it. Both of their teams won their game last Saturday. That was nice for them. You all will have to come watch them play sometime if possible. If you would like to come I can send you a schedule.

OH THE WEATHER OUT SIDE IS FRIGHTFUL!!

No fire place to have a fire inside that is delightful. So ok the first nasty day of winter has come upon us. It is sleeting out and will snow soon. I left work early around 4:20 it took me till 5:40 to get home. It was a very long slow drive. My hands hurt from my death grip on the wheel. My shoulders hurt from the tension I had on my hour plus drive home. Hope no one else had to have that much fun today.

I am feeling a little better. I left work on Monday at Noon and was off also on Tuesday. Guess I picked the wrong days to be sick..

On a funny note McKinley said that that hail was hitting his eyes on the walk home from school. He also told me that it had snowed out I told him no it is just sleet he said no mom I stepped on snow pieces.

Weekend blues

Ok I have the same crud that everyone else now has. I came home from work today. I am not coughing but my chest is killing me and I have a horrible headache. When I got home I took some NyQuil and went to sleep.

I weighed in and I lost 2 oz again. That is much better then I thought I was thinking I gained. I am now at 24 pounds lost. I am glad. It feels good to get rid of some excess weight.

McKinley is all excited about his birthday coming up. I got is present on my Friday shopping spree with Christy. We had a great time. That night however I felt like I was going to drop. Dinners were great. David did good on his Turkey. Mine was very tasty also. It was a challenge however mom only had 2 pans so it was potatoes in the big pot and I had to cook and clean to use the other pot I had 3 other things I had to cook. Next year it is at my house or Judy's hehe.. Or maybe dinner out.

Time to lay back down and moan and groan for a bit. Hope everyone who is sick gets better and who isn't hope you don't get it.

now on to my pity party

Another year is about to come to an end. This year has brought back some emotions I thought I had buried deep inside of me. I cant believe that it has been 5 years since Bill passed away. I would love to say time flys when you are having fun but, I haven't had much fun. It has been a big struggle. You can only imagine how lonely I feel some days. I miss having someone next to me or having someone to talk to. Someone to help with the boys and just the day to day stuff. I had to walk passed the intensive care unit today and there were 3 people standing outside crying and I had a big flash back. I wanted to reach out to them and tell them I know what they are going through. However there are no words that you can say to anyone in that position. Everyone thinks they will have that one magic word that will make you feel better. I think even now there is no magic word to help with how I feel. It is like having a hole in your soul. I just want to get through this holiday season. I know I sound depressed but I am just VERY LONELY!! I will some how find a way out of my funk. It may take a while but I know someday I will be in a different state of mind.

On a positive note I lost 3.8 pounds making it a total of 23.8 for the last 8 weeks.

Twisted Peppermint

Ok I totally love Bath & Body works. I love their new Twisted Peppermint. It smells good and feels good. I got the lotion & bubble bath/shower gel/shampoo. I haven't tried it as a shampoo but I did try it as the shower gel. Can you say tingley all over!! That has to be one of my favorite stores I could loose myself in there. Well I am off to take a bubble bath in my new found smell.

Oh Happy Day!!

I had such a busy weekend I am very glad it is over. Friday night my friend Jan and I went to a jewelry party at one of my old friends house. I use to work with Joan. Two other girls came I use to work with also. It was nice to see them again.

Saturday the boys tried out at the church for their basketball team. They both made the team (everyone made the team). That evening we went to the circus. This was a first for me and them. It was fun. It started out with a guy on a motorcycle going up a rope right over the top of us. McKinley got very scared and flew out of the stands. It was so funny!! The whole evening was great. My friend from work Laurie and her 2 boys came with us. The boys also brought Matt Doran (Paula's son) the kids were all good. The boys were and were out in about 10 minutes after we got home (got to love those nights)

Sunday was a blast. I had my purse party. i think it was a success. Everyone had fun!! I made taco rollups (fat free) no one could tell they were very tasty. Although a bit spicy.

Today I weighed in I have now lost 17 pounds.. WOO HOO!!! Only 13 to go to be where i was at when i stopped 2 years ago. i cant wait. I put together 3 purses and she is going to fix the one that I had made but didn't like. I am excited to see how everyone's turned out.

I cant believe that we are almost done with October. This year slid by very fast. I will have been at my job now for 1 year on the 31st. I still love it to!!

Hope everyone that is in town can make it to my purse party. If you are out of town and want to come that would be great also. I am looking forward to next weekend. Mitzi is coming in and we are going to the circus. I have never been to one so I am excited. We got free tickets. They had to be free or i still wouldn't be going.

Well tomorrow I weigh in hope I loose. It has been a ruff week!!

I am now down 11.2 pounds.

Bullies!!!

Last Wednesday a boy Keyonta (like the liquor) or how ever you spell it. Kicked Quentin in the broken foot, not once but twice. The first time was at recess the 2nd was after school. Which prompted his friends to go up to the boy and say you want to kick some one try kicking me. Which in turn sent another friend to say to get to them you have to go through me. Well he did!! he pulled him down and started beating on the child. A teacher broke it up. The boy that started it all got in school suspension. He was in the hallway the same time as Quentin on Thursday he said I kicked you once and I will kick you again. (and I thought my kids were bad!!) He was with a teacher also. Not sure what will happen now. McKinley told me today that he said to him that he was going to kick his brother twice as hard. I guess I will be calling the principal tomorrow.

On a more liter note I have now lost a total of 9.2 pounds!!

Weight Watchers

I started doing weight watchers last week. I weighed in and lost 6.6 pounds for my first week. I was happy. My goal is to loose at least 20 by Christmas. I want to feel better again. I gained 30 back from last time I lost weight. I hope this time I keep focused and get to the weight i want to get to. I will let you know each week how it is going.

Tomorrow is picture day for the boys. I hope they turn out good this year last years were kind of bad. McKinley looked like he had a floating head.

Not another broken bone!!!

Last night Quentin was putting the laundry into the dryer for me since my thumb is infected (I had a wart burnt off and now it is infected) McKinley was trying to get by him instead of say please move or can I get by he pushed him down and Q hit his foot on the bi-fold door and broke his left foot. The break is on the hump part of the foot it more or less just shaved off that bone it isn't sticking out or any thing. He doesn't have a cast but he is on crutches. McKinley is very upset at what he did.

On a sadder note, our security guard Tim passed away this morning.

Hi ho Hi ho its off to work I go!!

Here it is Sunday night at 10:05 and in the morning it will be MONDAY!! Where did this weekend go?? I was sick all week last week. Ok from Tuesday on. On Friday I had no voice. (I am sure the boys were glad!!) I sound like I have a frog in my throat. I tell everyone I have my man voice on.

Saturday was fun. Paula and I took the boys to a birthday party. She had Sam I had McKinley we went to the Great Mall. It was nice we had a good time and Quentin & Matt had fun also. Not a whole lot happened this weekend. I went to dinner with Judy & Mandy today that was nice. Ok I am rambling.

I did get up this morning to go to Church (I didn't sleep well last night) took a shower laid down for what was going to be a few minutes and woke up at 11 OOPS!! guess I needed the sleep.

Go Royals!!

I got 4 free tickets to the Royals game for tonight. (Wednesday) We had great seats and a free parking pass. The boys had a great time. We left at the middled of the 7th inning. well The angels were leading by 1 and that never changed I beleive the score was 1-0 Angles. Oh well we had a blast and free is fun to bad the food wasnt free... AHHH

WHERE'S MY SHOES???

Dont you just love getting a phone call from a frantic child. Where's my shoes? I am at work 30 minuest away like I can locate the shoes. I keep thinking back to the answer I use to get from Dad. DO I WEAR THEM? Guess he found them because he isnt home right now.

The Good The Bad & The Backwards!!

For the good... Quentin was so excited today he is on the Safety Patrol for this week. He gets to greet the drives dropping off kids. He will do it in the morning and the afternoon. it will be for just this week.

For the bad... When I got to work today I found out our Security Guard Tim had a heart attack over the weekend. Last I herd he was still in ICU and he is expected to be ok. Please say a prayer for him and keep him in your thoughts. I know we have a full plate of prayers right now.

For the backwards... Today I got the boys up had them get dressed. I went to work they went to school. I guess around noon or so Quentin realized he had his pants on backwards!! Can you say embarrassed much!!

SEARS!!! GRR

Oh my what a day!! Ok I talked to Mitzi this morning and poor thing has to buy a new washing machine. Well so I have Quentin put in the laundry in to do a load in my washing machine. He says mom it wont shut I said leave it alone I will shut it. Well the latch broke off. YEA!! I called Sears and they have the part it only cost 3 something. The best part is the store is right across from the apartment. (called Mitzi and laughed and told her I totally blamed her for my broken latch and if she ever wins the lottery call me so I can play since I caught the broken washer) I am thinking woo hoo this will be fast I will run in get it and do the rest of my day to do what I want (eat, groceries & movie (Car's)) What should of taken 5 minutes turned into 45 minutes of HELL!!! The moran that was helping me had Jeff In training (1st mistake). I didn't take the model number with me because the woman gave me the part number. (2nd mistake) (or would that be the 1st at this point it doesn't really matter) well the part number she gave me was incorrect. I explained to the guy what it was and he said ok I know what you want but couldn't find it on the wall.( wall of parts) He shows me a part said this is it I said no it looks nothing like that. I show him what I am talking about from one (washer) that is on their floor. still the dip wad cant find the part and of course the lady I spoke with stepped out. (Yea 3rd problem/mistake) now they want the model number I said I will run home and get it. Oh no need (4th mistake) mister ding bat cant work the computer. Finally someone with more smarts gets the computer working but wow he brings up the wrong part (what a susprise) he tells me I don't know why she told you we had this part because we don't carry it, and it cost 13 something. It is a hinge. I said NO IT IS NOT A HINGE IT IS A LATCH AND WHY WOULD SHE SAY YOU HAD IT!!! (his 5th mistake ticking me off further). He finally finds the right part and well hey it is in the back not on the wall (now why would we want to check there after I showed the butt head the part 30 minutes ago!!!) I check out well (gumble) this takes another 10 minutes and he hands me the receipt and say thank you. I said CAN I HAVE MY PART..My teeth are clinched. Oh and the best part as I am leaving the woman I talked to on the phone walks out on the floor AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

The other half of the day is better we see Cars and go to Aldis rent some moves and oh yea got my laundry done!!!

All I can say is was this a long week or what!!

OUCH Again

Ok I don't think I have been overly stressed. I haven't had to scream at my kids but the creeping crud came back on my hand. It started yesterday afternoon. It hurts!! I wish I could figure out what causes this stuff and stop it. The only stress I have had in a bit is we did get some money stolen at work over the weekend. I keep second guessing myself as to if I had taken the keys out of the safe. I was assured by the security Guard Anthony that I had. The guys that work the booths have to deposit their money in there and they didn't see the keys in the safe. I was worried if I had forgotten I would loose my job. Maybe that is what brought it on. I was more scared then I thought.
On a funnier side you know how I am the best speller in the world and have the best grammar. Well I was needing to send out a mass e-mail at work I wrote something and instead of the word for I wrote fart. Now spell check would not catch that because hey I spelled that one right. (thank god I read over it before sending it out) Today I was sending a e-mail to the security people I need to write Western Waterproofing instead of wrote puffing. I caught that one quickly. Ah the power of the word!!

Another day another dollar

Woo hoo it is Tuesday and not a interesting thing at all happened to me today!! I woke up took a shower went to work. Came home made tacos ate, yelled at the boys to do their home work. I anticipate going to bed soon watching TV and starting this whole fun process over again!!
