Where has this year gone??

Wow it is October and the year is almost at an end! Not sure where it has gone.... 3 months left of this year! The most stressful Holidays await us!!

Thanksgiving.. the age old question who is hosting?

Christmas.. guess its the same question.. I know that this year if it even calls for a fleck of snow I am going NOWHERE!!! Had a great time at Robs but wow was that a nasty drive!!!

I am up for having one of the holidays at my house.. (its so nice to have a house now)

MONDAYS

Weekends....

I always look forward to the weekends.. you don't have to get out of bed till you are ready you can putz around the house or do what you want!! So why is it that the weekend I was so looking forward to is making me miserable!!!

Yesterday I couldn't wait to go see my niece Amanda and new nephew Derik!! They got married and we we are going to celebrate that!! I wake up with a very upset stomach.. then as I am getting ready to take a bath to get ready I slip an fall in the tub.. my hand slipped off the side as I was lowering myself down.. well I flooded the bathroom and wrenched my left side back & neck!! I troop on through and had a WONDERFUL time at Amanda's. So happy for her!!! As the day wears on the stiffness is setting in from my fall.. Last night I have put ACTIVon all over my left side .. it helped a bit.. that and advil!!! This morning I wake up with one of my sick headaches!!! GRRR so here I sit in bed hurting all over.. I know I am bitching but oh well its my blog and I can do that.. hehe.. So here's hoping that the ache of the fall & the brain pain goes away before I have to go to work tomorrow and enjoy my week of stress.. I will keep looking forward to my weekends.. this one coming up is BUNKO!!! got to love that!!

Frustration

I am frustrated!!! Frustrated I have gained weight... Frustrated that after 8 years I am still alone!!.. Frustrated that some stuff at work that bugs me I cant change!!.. Frustrated that BOTH my boys will need summer school .. Frustrated that it is SOOOOO expensive also!!! Frustrated that my sleep pattern sucks!!! Frustrated that as hard as I try I am not the greatest housekeeper!! Frustrated that I forgot to get gas this morning in Missouri so I will have to pay the extra 10 cents a gallon in Kansas before I can even go to work!!

OK I am done for now what are you Frustrated about???

EZ EGG CRACKER & OTHER STUFF

Hello everyone!! Well I LOVE MY NEW PLACE!!! Not sure how I lived for 2 years with out a dishwasher & a 2nd bathroom..The only draw back is I think my thermostat is off.. I have talked to the landlords I they will get it fixed, and not with duck tape & wire!!

So this Thursday or Friday my boys & I will be on Fox 4 News doing a segment on the Try it before you buy it!! We had such a great time. Hope I dont look like a fat dork!! (OH WHY have I gained back some weight?? Going to try to get my head back in the game!!) how I got picked is I emaild them wanting to try the GT ready set go and got picked for the EZ egg cracker. It was fun the kids had a good time and well we will see how we look later on this week. I will let you know when it will air.. They said either Thursday or Friday at their 9pm news and will air again on Saturday. Any one want my autograph???

Was so not happy with this snow we had this weekend!! I was looking forward to seeing New Moon for the first time at the party. Guess I will wait till April now!! All is good. I was sick yesterday anyway. I hate having headaches that make you sick.

Thursday I got to experience a flat tire on the highway that was not fun. A State Trooper came along at the right time (the one time you are excited to see a cop..hehe) he changed my tire and AHHH my spare was flat!!! My heart sunk!! They called motorist assist and they came and aired it up. I went to the place I got my tires and there was a nail in it.OH YEA!!! All this stupid construction going on its a wonder everyone dont have flats..GRRR. They plugged it but it is in a spot that if I use the tire much it would blow.. so I had to buy a new tire. I now have a new tire and a spare that will be ok if it should ever happen again. Which I hope it never does.

We are in!!

Wow how good does it feel to be done with that old place. The boys love having their own room. I love my new furniture. I love my garage. My house is great!!! Ok not sure what else to say... I am tired and looking forward to the next stage in my life to come together!!

New Beginnings

As most of you know I am moving. Really wasn't planning on it but it kind of fell in my lap. I am very excited to be moving into a real house. It is a 3 bedroom, (yea each boy gets their on room)2 full baths, a full basement (it is has a room sectioned off for a man cave), a new stove, new carpet, a new microwave/smoke sucker thing over the stove, a dishwasher, a garage with a garage door opener.

So looks like I am shooting for the 20th of February to move. That will give me a week to clean up this place. Trust me it will be much cleaner then when I moved in.

Paula is going to help me on the next few weekends to eliminate some of the crap. So I am thankful for that. I need to downsize my stuff.

I will be going back to the house to give them my application for the house (yes I am sure its mine they just need my info)I will take pictures then and post.

On a different note Quentin gets his braces on this Tuesday. Then McKinley will get his cast off on the 8th. He will have to wear a brace on his arm for a while though.

2010....

So is anyone else having issues writing 2010?? At work I am making my new files for the new year. I was typing up the new label's got to the F's a realized that oops I have written 2009 on ALL of them.. GRRR had to start over.. glad i figured it out before I hit the z's.. hehe

My boys are getting older both are teenagers now and yes they have the attitude to go with it!!! Quentin got his permit just before the cut off for the new rules. He was pretty excited and wants to drive.. well if we ever get rid of the snow I will take him to a parking lot and let him try. Right now all the open parking lots are still covered in snow. Quentin will start getting his braces on the 19th then the 28th he will have them on. So you can call him brace face soon!!!

McKinley gets his long arm cast off this Friday and then will get a shorter one and it will be on for 3 weeks. Dr said that it will be 6 months to a year before his arm is back to normal.

Me I am just working and that is it!! Trying to go back on my diet but so far it hasn't worked.. Hoping that before the end of the month I will get motivated. I know I will just got to get that spark!!!

Well its time to get out of my warm bed and get in my car slide out of my drive way and go to work!!!
